David Ruegg

Dave is a Berkeley native. He graduated from UC Berkeley in 1961 with a BS in Land Economics and has been working as a real estate professional ever since. Dave is an active member of the Berkeley business community and has served as president of the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce and the Berkeley Board of Realtors. He is the broker of record for Commercial Lessors Inc. and holds a B1 Contractor's license.

Bob Ellsworth
Founder, Attorney

Bob graduated from UC Berkeley in 1958 and continued his education at Hastings University where he received a JD in 1962. He practiced law part time until September 1980 after which time he devoted himself solely to Rue-Ell Enterprises and the business of commercial real estate.

Dana Ellsworth
Vice President, Director of Acquisitions

Dana manages the commercial property portfolio owned by Rue-Ell Enterprises. She received her BA from UC Santa Barbara and is a licensed Real Estate Broker. Dana has been working with founders David Ruegg and Bob Ellsworth since 1990 and has served as president and/or director of the North Shattuck Association, Telegraph Property and Business Management Corporation, Berkeley Chamber of Commerce, and the Telegraph Area Association.

Carlo Battino
Vice President - Berkeley

Carlo graduated from UC Davis in 1998 and has been a licensed real estate agent since 1999. He worked for two years with Commercial Lessors until 2001. During his absence from Commercial Lessors, Carlo worked in the lending industry as a mortgage broker in San Francisco. Now he manages the Bay Area portfolio.

Jason Tobin

Dave Carlson

Dave graduated from UC Berkeley in 2001, received his JD from Golden Gate University in 2005, and is a licensed attorney, real estate broker and building contractor.

Linda Francis
Office Manager - Sacramento
Linda graduated from UC Davis and co-manages the Sacramento office.

Kevin McNally
Maintenance Supervisor, Berkeley

Kevin is a certified mechanic and HVAC repair technitian.  He has been with the company since 2001 and maintains properties in Berkeley, Oakland, Hayward, Castro Valley and Lafayette.  He keeps the properties in good condition and handles emergencies.

Brendan Heafey
Director of Property Development - Oakland

Brendan has been a real estate agent for Commercial Lessors since 2001 and is currently the project manager for Ruegg and Ellsworth's in-fill development projects.
